for choosing me as your photographer!!

my goal at every session is to capture the unique beauty of your family in my photographs.  To gather a collection of photos that will showcase your family, as you are, in this season of life.  

what to expect:

location: my studio is located at the Highland Mall, 2100 Highland Way, Suite N. I have an outside only door located between Quizno’s and Riddle’s Jewelry

length of the session: the good news is, I am super fast!  My studio sessions rarely last more than a half hour.  Don’t worry, I can easily get a diverse and adequate gallery in that time.  

what to wear: wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are.  I do not recommend matching, but rather coordinating outfits. When choosing colors for your outfits, I recommend selecting softer, lighter tones and more muted shades. By avoiding ultra-bright colors, it will help bring all the attention to you and your family.  That softer, muted color palette and sophisticated light neutrals like heather gray, creams and white photograph beautifully and look great in the studio. I would also avoid shirts with large logos on them.

your children: children are not usually fond of being told to pose or smile.  It is best if we just give the children time to relax and try to capture their natural self.  I understand the frustration of asking your child to “smile for the camera” and them not wanting to cooperate…that’s why I’m going to worry about your kids behavior so you don’t have to!  This is going to be a fun laid back session.  My hope is that they’re having so much fun…that we don’t have to force them to smile! 

To get the most out of your session, make sure that your little one(s) has rested and have had adequate snacks and water.  Bring dry, non messy snacks so their little faces stay clean during the session.

Prepare the child for the session by letting them know that a friend will be taking some photos of them, it’s best not to surprise them.
